University of Michigan: Continued Education

Just because someone is deaf does not mean they should be denied upper education opportunities, and fortunately, there are two scholarship opportunities offered by the University of Michigan that underscore this notion.The Adam Miller Fund was established in 1999 by Marlene and Alex Miller (parents of Adam). The fund provides enrichment assistance for University of Michigan students with hearing, visual or mobility disabilities. Personal assistive devices, personal training, extracurricular and social activities, learning experiences and community outreach initiatives are provided by this memorial fund.
